Cleaning is a task that many of us really dread but we all need to do in some form or another. When we get up and start doing tasks, we start to make a mess or leave reside of our actions all over. Then, at the end of the day we need to clean up and prepare the space for the next person or for us to do it all over again. In general, cleaning isn’t difficult. For many though, commercial cleaning services in Baltimore, MD is a good investment in time and resources. When we get someone else to do it for us, we can focus on other tasks. However, learning the basics is going to serve us well.
Take out trash
The first step in any cleaning process is to go through the area and take out the trash. This is done first simply because it removes all the large items from the space and allows us to tackle a major chunk of the cleaning process right from the start.
Once the trash is taken out, we want to do a general look over the area. This initial inspection will tell us all we need to know about the tasks at hand. If we see that there is a lot of liquid from spills, food laying around, trash on the floor or other situations, we can address them first.
Start from the top and work your way down
The next step will be to work from the top of the room and work your way down. This means knocking down any cobwebs, dust or items that are dirty high up. The reason for this is that you are moving dirt down from a high location to a lower location. If you were to do it the opposite way, you would be doing double and triple the work.
Back to front
Next, move from the back of the room to the front of the room. Again, the reason for this is that you are moving dirt from far away to where you are going to end up. You don’t want to track dirt into clean areas.
